Electromagnetic radiation has been around since universe birth, while all populations are now exposed to varying degrees of EMFs, whose levels increase according to the technology advances. Thus, EMF of all frequencies becomes one of the most common and fastest growing environmental influences on humans, biota and objects, warranting research attention.

National and Kapodistrian University of Athens announces the launch of a new Postgraduate Studies Program (PSP) for the academic year 2018-2019, which leads to the award of a Master's degree in “Nanomedicine”(pending the official publication in the government’s gazette).

The purpose of the "Nanomedicine" PSP is to provide a high level post-graduate education in Nanomedicine.

The PSP leads to the award of a "Postgraduate Diploma" in Nanomedicine (MSc in Nanomedicine) after full and successful completion of studies based on the curriculum. The PSP accepts holders of a Bachelor's degree in the Departments of Medicine, Pharmacology, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering and other related subjects.

The draft of the ICNIRP Guidelines on Limiting Exposure to Time-Varying Electric, Magnetic and Electromagnetic Fields (100 kHz to 300 GHz) is now ready for public consultation. The draft is comprised of the main guidelines document, and two appendices. As part of the development of the guidelines, ICNIRP has regularly given draft guidelines presentations to encourage critique and discussion from the many experts who are not members of ICNIRP.
